Mark Longair

This is a small page linking to other things about me, since people sometimes ask for such a page to link to. I've recently submitted my PhD thesis in neuroinformatics at the University of Edinburgh, and should be starting a post-doctoral position in the new year.

• You might know my name from the volunteer work I did to parse records from the Scottish Parliament's Official Report, Written Answers and Business bulletins to add support for the Scottish Parliament to TheyWorkForYou and The Public Whip
• I write one blog post a week about the clues in that day's Guardian crossword at the website fifteensquared.net. (You can also just see my recent posts there.)
• I'm a core contributor to the Fiji project, which is a distribution of image processing tools based around ImageJ
